Ipmat stands for Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test which uses to be conducted by IIM INDORE.

The national level test will be conducted for admission to the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) in the month of May. As per the IPMAT eligibility criteria set by the conducting body, candidates must have passed their standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks. IPMAT 2019 will be conducted in computer-based mode across various test centres in India. Thereafter, candidates who clear the IPMAT 2019 cutoff will further be called for the selection rounds followed by the final admission process.

IPMAT 2019 - Indian Institute of Management, Indore or IIM Indore will conduct its national-level undergraduate test Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) in the month of May 2019. WHAT IS IPMAT?

IPMAT is a national level test conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore for admissions to its five-year regular undergraduate academic program. In this program student will go with BBA AND PGP from IIM INDORE.

ELIGIBILITY FOR IPMAT 2019:-



IIM Indore, the exam conducting body, prescribes the eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2019. Here it is:

  • Candidates belonging to General and OBC-NCL Category must have minimum 60 percent marks in X/SSC and XII/HSC or equivalent examinations in order to apply.
  • SC/ST and PWD (DA) Category candidates must have at least 55 percent marks in X and XII or equivalent examinations to apply.
  • Age Limit : The age limit for general category is 20 years and 22 years for SC/ST category as on July 31, 2019.

IPMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2019 are prescribed by IIM Indore, the exam leading body. It's here: 
Applicants from the General and NC- OBC categories must be required to apply for IPMAT at least 60% marks or equivalent exams in X / SSC or XII / HSC.
 Candidates for SC / ST and PWD( DA) categories shall be required to apply for IPMAT at least 55% marks in X and XII or equivalent exams. 

Limit Age for IPMAT : 20 years and 22 years for general category SC / ST on 31 July 2019. Age limit: SC / ST is 22 years.

IPMAT Application Form 2019 

In the second week of March 2019, IIM Indore is expected to publish the 2019 IPMAT application form. The third week of April 2019 will be the last time that the application form is submitted. Before submitting the application form, candidates planning to attend the exam should check the eligibility criteria. For IPMAT 2019, the application fee is the following:

IPMAT Exam Pattern 2019 

IPMAT 2019 is going to be a 2-hour computer- based test. In accordance with the examination pattern of IPMAT 2019, the examination will consist of 100 questions divided into three segments, namely quantitative ability( MCQ), quantum ability( SHRQ), and verbal ability( MCQ). Time will be limited to all sections IPMAT EAXM.

Marking Scheme FOR IPMAT 

Each question has four marks, and that means that four marks is given to every correct answer. The examination also has a negative mark. Every misrepresentation will have a single deduction. Negative marking shall not apply for QA( Short Answer Questions), where applicants must type the reply, rather than the options provided.

IPMAT Admit Card 2019 

In the first week of May 2019, IIM Indore will publish the IPMAT 2019 admission card. The institute only offers an online ticket for admittance cards and halls. Applicants who are registered for the test can download the admission card from the official exam website by filling in the application application form and the application fee. It is a document which must be submitted for examination.

Candidates of IPMAT would need to login to the official website to download the admit card. Candidates are advised to take at least two printouts of the admit card.

IPMAT Exam Analysis

IPMAT Exam analysis is bsed on the difficulty level of the examination. Here, we are going to elaborate the section-wise IPMAT Exam Analysis. The exam has overall 100 questions which are divided into two sections I.e Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability.

 QA has 60 questions to be attempted within 75 Minutes and VA has 40 in 45 minutes.
The total time limit was 120 minutes for Ipmat. Now, let’s have a look at individual sections 
Section 1: Quantitative Ability-60 Questions (75 Min) for IPMAT:-
The level of difficulty of section 1 of IPMAT Exam was moderate difficult. There were 60 Questions, out of which 50 were option- based and10 were ‘Type in the answer’ type out of which 2-3 questions has more than one option. Topic wise break up is as follows

One RC passage in IPMAT Exam was about geology & evolution and increasing use of gadgets by youngsters. Most of the questions in this section of IPMAT Exam were based on fact, word/phrase meaning, and on the understanding of passages

Good attempt would be 25-30 questions with 85% accuracy and 80+ marks will be considered as good score in IPMAT Exam.

Predictably, English was an easier section. There were no tricky or unexpected question types. Difficulty level was easy-moderate. Fill in the blanks and vocabulary were given high importance.

IPMAT INTERVIEW ROUND


IPMAT is a The 5 year integrated programme in management offered by IIM Indore is the first of its kind programme in India. If you aspire to become a leader in corporate world, this is the course for you.  After your written exam for IPM, you will be called for a WAT(written ability test) and PI(personal interview) process for your admission.
