इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (IPL) 2019 से पहले खिलाड़ियों की नीलामी 18 दिसंबर को जयपुर में होगी। यह नीलामी एक दिन की होगी। इसके आयोजन स्थल में भी बदलाव किया गया है। इस बार आईपीएल की नीलामी बेंगलुरु की जगह जयपुर में होगी। सिर्फ 70 खिलाड़ियों को नीलामी में जगह दी गई है, जिसमें 50 भारतीय और 20 विदेशी खिलाड़ी शामिल हैं। इस बार आईपीएल की नीलामी में एक चेहरा शामिल नहीं होगा। यह चेहरा इसलिए खास है, क्योंकि पिछले 11 सालों से यह हर आईपीएल नीलामी का हिस्सा बन रहा है।  आईपीएल 2019 की नीलामी में वेल्स स्थित रिचर्ड मैडले की जगह अब हग एडमेड्स लेंगे। एडमेड्स स्वतंत्र रूप से फाइन आर्ट, क्लासिक कारों और चैरिटी के ऑक्शनर हैं। अपने शानदार कमेंट्स और कार्यशैली के ऑक्शनर रिचर्ड मैडले अब तक इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के ऑक्शनर रहे हैं, लेकिन इस बार वेल्स बेस्ड मैडले की जगह नीलामी के इंचार्ज होंगे- हग एडमेड्स।  इस क्षेत्र में एडमेड्स के पास 30 साल का अनुभव है। इस बार यह केवल दो दिनों का ही काम नहीं होगा, क्योंकि इसमें 1000 से ज्यादा खिलाड़ी (232 विदेशी खिलाड़ी) के बीच 70 स्पॉट्स के लिए जंग होगी। मैडले ...

Recently, RBI Deputy Governor Viral Acharya made a case for setting up a Public Credit Registry (PCR), incorporating unique identifiers: Aadhaar for individual borrowers and Corporate Identification Number for firms. What is PCR? A public credit registry is an information repository that collates all loan information of individuals and corporate borrowers. A credit repository helps banks distinguish between a bad and a good borrower and accordingly offer attractive interest rates to good borrowers and higher interest rates to bad borrowers. The move is based on the recommendations of a committee, headed by Y.M. Deosthalee. PCR will address issues such as information asymmetry, improve access to credit and strengthen the credit culture among consumers. It can also address the bad loan problem staring at banks, as corporate debtors will not be able to borrow across banks without disclosing existing debt.
