How To find Whether a Company is Real or Fake!

Step 1: Visit the Ministry of Corporate Affairs's Government of India
Click on below link to open the website of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India

Step 2: Enter the Company name (Do not try with Short Forms or half names)
Step 3: If the company is not registered you will get a Pop-up with information as follows.
Step 4: If the company is registered you will get the following information of the company.
  1.  LLPIN /CIN /1A Ref No
  2.  Company or LLP Name
  3. State
  4. Registration Date
  5. Company Status
Step 5: If you get the information like  given above that particular company is registered by Govt. of India.
Caution:- 
Stakeholders are requested to ensure that the proposed name selected does not contain any word as prohibited in Section 4(2) & (3) of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rule 8 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014.

Stakeholders are also requested to read and understand Rule 8 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 in respect of any proposed name before applying for the same.
